Aarbo Fuldauer is proud to announce that among the lastest appointments to the Queens Counsel in Alberta is Darryl A. Aarbo, Q.C.
The Queen’s Counsel designation is an honourary appointment given to distinguished lawyers who have contributed to the legal profession and public life. The Q.C. designation is only given after a screening committee, of judiciary and legal community members, submits recommendations for appointment to the Minister of Justice and Solicitor General and Cabinet for consideration.
Darryl is a graduate of Queen’s University in Ontario, Darryl began his career doing litigation and employment law on Bay Street in Toronto. Darryl returned to Calgary in 1997 and after a year downtown, joined Gary in Kensington. Darryl focuses on dispute resolution and, where necessary, litigation. Much of his dispute resolution is in the areas of family, estate and contract law. He also maintains a practice in wills, real estate and employment law. Darryl has also been very active in the community sitting on a variety of commuunity board; assisting locally with the Canadian Bar Association, including serving as Vice-Chair of the the Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Committee (SOGIC) in Southern Alberta; plus assisting with legal education of the public and his fellow lawyers.
